Mary, mother and
model of our lifes
« How not to
want to give Mary her whole place in our daily lifes? She is so close
to us, the one who is, in everything, one of us! Isn't she the most
human of all women and the best deified of God's children? But we are
all called to
put on the new self that has been created in God's way, in the goodness
and holiness of the truth. (Ep. 4, 24) [...]
Thus we have chosen
without hesitation from the beginning of our Monastic
Communities to consecrate them to the Virgin Mary so that she may
be their model and their guardian. So, any Christian life is invited to
place itself under her maternal protection. Isn't she indeed the canal
itself that God has taken to become incarnate among us; and the most
perfect human path that invites us to follow in his footsteps? »

Our communities are specially consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
You should be able to turn to her every day.
Virgin, wife and mother, she will teach you the secret of bridehood,
the meaning of virginity, the nature of fatherhood, the nature of
fatherhood and the mystery of motherly love.
Because she is the mother of fair love, she will help you to love.
Because she is the light of prayer, she will help you to pray.
Because she loves the mystery of silence, she will introduce you to its
secret.
Because she loves you, you too must learn to love her.
With Mary, do all that Christ bids you and, like her,
rejoice! Mary leads the way from the Jerusalem of today towards the new
Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, turn your eyes to the East and see the joy that is coming to
you from God.
So I shall get up and go through the city: have you seen him whom my
heart loves?
I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from heaven as
beautiful as a bride adorned for her husband.
Pray much to the holy, merciful and immaculate Mother of God.
At Bethleem, Mary gave you the eternal God become a little Child. At
the foot of the cross she stood near her Son while he died for you. In
Jerusalem she will reveal the true face of Emmanuel to you. »
