The family of Jerusalem gathers
monks, nuns, lay and consecrated people belonging to varied lay or
monastic communities that all form the Communion of
Jerusalem together. In accordance with their charisma, their
striving is
for a living "in the heart of the cities, in the heart of God" (
Prier la ville).
The Communion of Jerusalem can be represented by the image of the
marguerite. This is how you can find as many distinct petals as
communities around the same heart.
«
The Eucharist is the center; the daily liturgies are
the support; the Rule of Life gives the unifying thread; the name
of "Jerusalem" reminds the mystique; and in the holy freedom of God's
children, the Holy Spirit guide the march. »
